Aminoverse is a young biotech company in Nuth Netherlands close to the German and Belgian border. We are committed to pushing the scientific frontier in enzyme science for our clients from innovative start-ups to renowned global players worldwide.


We are seeking a highly reliable forward-thinking and innovative Computational Biologist/Chemist/Physicist to strengthen our in silico and ML research capabilities.

Your expertise:
  • A completed PhD or . with at least 3 years of working experience in Computational Biology/Chemistry Biophysics Machine Learning or a comparable field
  • Strong background in enzyme engineering including enzyme and protein structure-function relationships
  • Proficiency in Python for scientific coding and data analysis
  • Experience using GitHub for version control and collaborative development
  • Hands-on experience with molecular simulations ideally using Rosetta and molecular dynamics methods
  • Experience applying machine learning or AI approaches to protein design or protein sequence analysis
  • Familiarity with cloud-based AI and computational infrastructures for example AWS
  • Experience with AI agents and workflow automation tools is a plus

  • Strong interest in staying up to date with cutting-edge technologies and scientific developments
  • Enjoyment of teamwork and contributing to strategic decisions within a computational biology team
  • Can-do attitude to find and implement solutions
  • Strong belief in combining in silico and machine learning approaches with in-house wet lab data for ideal outcomes
  • Passion for enzymes or proteins in general
  • Interest in working on industrial research projects with clear objectives milestones and time-sensitive deliverables
  • Motivation to join and grow with a young biotech company over the long term
Your new workplace:
  • An interdisciplinary team covering 8 nationalities with a flat hierarchy
  • A standard Dutch 1-year full-time contract (35-40/h) with a 1-month probation period and the prospect of a permanent position we are interested in the long-term and hope you are too!
