About the Role
The DT Technician will provide technical and practical support for all Design & Technology lessons ensuring workshops are safe well-resourced and fully operational.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing materials and equipment for lessons and projects
Maintaining workshop tools and machinery
Supporting teachers and students during practical sessions
Ensuring full compliance with health and safety procedures
Managing stock and ordering supplies as required
Assisting with project setups coursework and displays
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience as a DT Technician or in a similar practical role
Knowledge of workshop tools machinery and materials
Awareness of health and safety regulations
Reliable proactive and organised
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Experience within a school environment is desirable but not essential.
