The DT Teacher will deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons fostering students creativity problem-solving skills and technical understanding.
Key responsibilities include:
Teaching DT across KS3KS5
Preparing students for GCSE and A Level examinations
Planning and delivering structured practical lessons
Monitoring student progress and implementing interventions
Contributing to curriculum development and enrichment activities
Candidate Requirements
QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Degree in Design & Technology or related discipline
Knowledge of workshop tools machinery and materials
Strong classroom management and subject knowledge
Experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
