Process Engineering Intern

Core Tasks

• Support process improvement optimisation and troubleshooting activities on production lines.

• Assist with trials data collection design of experiments and evaluation of results.

• Help develop and update SOPs work instructions and process documentation.

• Contribute to problemsolving activities by identifying variations defects and root causes.

• Support qualification trials for new products materials and equipment.

• Collaborate with Process Engineering Production Quality and R&D teams on assigned tasks.

• Assist with sustainability initiatives such as waste and energy reduction studies.

Other Supporting Tasks

• Provide general technical support across departments when requested.

• Assist with laboratory testing sample preparation and basic data interpretation.

• Maintain engineering logs reports and documentation.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

• Basic understanding of statistics and data analysis (Minitab beneficial).

• Handson proactive attitude with willingness to learn.

• Exposure to CAD software or manufacturing processes (desirable).

Qualification

• Currently studying Mechanical Mechatronics Chemical Materials or related Engineering degree.
