As a Supervisor DSD Delivery you will be responsible for:

  • Operational Management:
    • Managing daily plans including order/route management employee performance and communication with internal/external customers and stakeholders.
    • Effectively driving execution against all core Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
    • Scheduling routes and completing ride-alongs with drivers.
    • Ensuring compliance with FMCSA Rules and Regulations (Hours of Service DOT breaks etc.) and Electronic Logging Device (ELD) compliance.
    • Supporting the first level of Daily Management System meetings in the field.
    • Completing payroll approvals (INFOR) for all direct reports in a timely manner.
  • Safety Leadership:
    • Promoting a strong safety culture and driving plans to reduce branch incident/accident rates.
    • Ensuring successful roadside inspections and conducting branch and cross-dock safety audits.
    • Holding DMS meetings and ensuring effective and compliant pre-and post-trip inspections.
  • Service Excellence:
    • Ensuring delivery efficiencies with accurate order fulfillments (Target TQA / Wal-Mart ASN order accuracy reports).
    • Maintaining route compliance and achieving on-time deliveries at the store level.
    • Participating in cross-functional meetings with Demand/Fulfillment Planning Retail Teams Customer Teams and Headquarters Support.
  • Cost Management & Continuous Improvement:
    • Managing the Delivery Labor Budget and demonstrating strong financial acumen.
    • Driving the lowest cost per case in delivery operations by executing annual productivity plans and Lean Six Sigma/productivity projects.
    • Maintaining the loss prevention network regarding waste and employee performance management.
    • Identifying supply chain opportunities and ensuring issues are addressed strategically and tactically.
    • Participating in continuous improvement programs to reduce costs carbon footprint and enhance service performance.
  • People Development:
    • Interviewing onboarding and developing direct reports/core team through multiple formats (classroom On the Job Training Work-with etc.) across Delivery operations.
    • Coaching direct reports to create and execute development plans and support individual career goals.
    • Managing and engaging with local hourly employees (Union/Non-Union) including coaching communication developing and building relationships.

Education / Certifications:

Bachelors degree is preferred.

Job specific requirements:

-SAP knowledge is preferred

-MS Office experience is preferred

- This role combines hands-on BI leadership with mentoring and professional development helping the team grow their technical skills while delivering impactful high-quality analytics solutions. Promote BI best practices in data modeling visualization and governance.

Travel requirements:

Less than 10%

Salary and Benefits:

The base salary range for this position is $77600 to $106700; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience skills education and addition to base salary this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
