The Role

We are currently seeking a Structural Technician/Drafter to join our Adelaide team. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and production of various buildings and infrastructure projects across South Australia

Your duties will include but will not be limited to the following:

  • Drafting and delivery of buildings and infrastructure projects using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Ensuring that drafting and drawing review tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards and the requirements of the client and Robert Bird Group
  • Delivering projects under strict timescales whilst ensuring quality performance meets with Robert Bird Group objectives
  • Liaising with the engineering team external stakeholders and clients for project specifications and details

About You

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil/Structural Design or equivalent
  • 3 years senior structural drafting experience working for an engineering design consultancy
  • Strong understanding of AutoCAD and Revit
  • Proven experience in delivering building and infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of Australian codes and standards
  • Able to work on own initiative and in a team environment
  • Full working rights
