Operating Mechanic

The ideal candidate will support chemical or industrial operations in a dynamic safety-focused environment. This role offers growth opportunities inheavy equipment operationandindustrial maintenance.

Where will you work: Onsite at Big Bend (12839 Wyandotte Rd. Gibsonton FL 33534).

Schedule: DuPont Schedule 4 days on 7 off 4 nights on 3 off 3 days on 1 day off 3 nights on 3 off. 12-hour shifts (6am/pm to 6am/pm).

What youll do:

Safely operate heavy equipment including payloader skid loader and forklift.
Assist with routine industrial maintenance and troubleshooting.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Comply with all safety and environmental policies.
Work outdoors occasionally in varying weather conditions.

What youll need:

1 2 years experience working in Industrial chemical or manufacturing setting and operating mobile equipment of industrial or manufacturing experience is preferred. Associate degree in Process Technology or related discipline is preferred.
Basic computer skills are required.
Valid drivers license.
Ability to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
Comfortable with basic math (addition subtraction multiplication division).
Proficient in reading and writing English.
Ability to make operational judgments while distributing materials or operating equipment.
Experience operatingHeavy equipmentsuch as Payloader Skid Loader etc.
Exposure toindustrial maintenancetasks (e.g. basic mechanical repairs equipment inspections).
