We are looking for an experienced Electrical Designer to join our Energy this role you will support the delivery of electrical design and drafting services across renewable energy substations and power infrastructure projects working closely with engineers and project teams.
What Youll Do:
- Prepare and develop detailed electrical design and drafting deliverables including Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) schematics layouts wiring diagrams and cable schedules.
- Produce high-quality drawings using tools such as AutoCAD and MicroStation (Revit experience is an advantage).
- Coordinate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Support design reviews and incorporate feedback to meet client and quality standards.
- Ensure timely delivery of outputs in line with project schedules and GHD quality systems.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Designer or Drafter ideally within energy renewables substations or power projects.
- Strong proficiency in electrical drafting and documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced project-based environment.
- Good communication skills and strong attention to detail.
