Senior FP&A Analyst
(SaaS PE-Backed 612 Month Mandate)
Overview
We are supporting a PE-backed SaaS company ($13.5M ARR 50 employees) seeking a Senior FP&A professional to take full ownership of its financial planning model.
This is not a reporting-heavy role. This is model ownership.
The mandate is structured as a 612 month engagement full-time initially with potential extension depending on acquisition activity and business needs.
The company is entering a growth phase under new leadership with private equity reporting and lender-facing forecasting requirements becoming increasingly important.
What Youll Own
- Own maintain and continuously improve the companys Excel-based financial planning model.
- Drive monthly forecasting across P&L balance sheet and especially cash flow.
- Support reporting requirements for private equity stakeholders and upcoming debt covenant reporting.
- Identify weaknesses or inconsistencies in the current model and proactively repair and strengthen it.
- Lead financial integration modeling for upcoming acquisitions (13 anticipated this year).
- Evaluate target company models and determine whether to integrate or consolidate separately.
This role requires someone who will live inside the model daily and take accountability for its accuracy and reliability.
Ideal Background
- 48 years in FP&A corporate finance or strategic finance roles.
- Strong Excel modeling expertise including complex forecasting and 3-statement models.
- Experience in SaaS environments including:
- Revenue recognition
- Deferred revenue mechanics
- Subscription forecasting
- Exposure to PE-backed environments or M&A integration is highly preferred.
- Comfortable working independently in a lean high-accountability environment.
What This Role Is Not
- Not a junior analyst position.
- Not a pure reporting role.
- Not limited to variance tracking.
This is a hands-on ownership-driven mandate for someone who wants real impact in a growing SaaS business.
