Were a craft bistro brewery on Parnell Road built by a team that cares about great beer great food and great service. Our Head Brewer is a Champion Exhibitor at the New Zealand Beer Awards. Our GM is one of a few Certified Cicerones in the country. Our Head Chef is a French-trained Auckland veteran who builds bold beer-led dishes from the brewery floor up.

Weve built something special and now we need a Restaurant Manager who can run the room with the same level of craft and intention that goes into everything we make.

This is a true leadership position. You will shape the guest experience build a high-performing FOH team and ensure the hospitality at Twofold is as crisp and intentional as the beer itself.

Your mission:

To deliver an exceptional consistent guest experience through great leadership strong systems and a team that genuinely loves what they do.

You are the person who bridges the brewery and the kitchen with the table ensuring every guest leaves having experienced exactly what Twofold is all about.

WHAT YOULL BE DOING

Leading the Floor

  • Owning the full FOH operation from pre-service setup to end-of-night close
  • Running reservations table flow and shift communication with precision
  • Managing private functions and events to deliver a seamless guest experience
  • Building and maintaining relationships with the Co-Founders Head Chef and bar & floor teams
  • Building & Developing Your Team

    • Rostering onboarding and coaching a tight-knit FOH team

    • Running regular training sessions focused on beer knowledge food pairing and service standards

    • Supporting staff through development pathways including WSET and Cicerone programmes

    • Creating a culture of accountability respect and fun

    Driving Performance

    • Overseeing stock ordering and cost controls in partnership with ownership

    • Monitoring and improving guest satisfaction spend per head and wage benchmarks

    • Capturing and actioning guest feedback to continuously raise the bar

    • Ensuring POS accuracy cash handling and reservation system compliance

    You love great food and drink and you bring that energy to your team and your guests. A WSET qualification Cicerone certification or strong beverage background is a real advantage.

    You understand labour cost of goods and covers. You know how to read the levers behind a profitable FOH and you take ownership of the numbers.

    You coach mentor and hold standards even under the pressure of a full Friday service. You bring people with you rather than pushing them from behind.
