Texas Instruments (TI) is looking for a detailed and results-oriented leader to become a part of our global Information Technology team as the Principal Data Integration Architect.

As the Principal Data Integration Architect within the Digital Experience Solutions group (DES) you will be a technical leader responsible for DESs data integration architecture strategy for seamless integration of data across external and internal systems promoting data-as-a-service. This role will also be a critical contributor for our muti-year technology transformation journey. This is a hands-on architecture leadership role responsible for defining the data integration strategy and designing integration patterns for internal and external consumption. This role will ensure data is secure scalable well-modeled interoperable and fit for both operational and analytical use while enabling domain teams to deliver independently.

The Principal Data Architect influences through technical authority standards and partnership working closely with domain engineering teams platform teams analytics and security.

The ideal candidate will bring in well-rounded expertise around software development including industry awareness of web technologies frameworks secure and scalable architecture and back-end services. Sharp focus on execution organization and efficiency is critical for this role including decision making around buy vs build strategic staffing cost and skills. The ability to develop and drive technical strategy and lead effectively cross-functionally is critical.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain Digital Experience Solutions enterprise data integration strategy ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry trends.
• Define data architecture vision strategy and patterns for data ingestion and pipelines event-driven and streaming patterns and API-based data sharing principles.
• Enable Data-as-a-product thinking within domains with scalable domain data models clean data contracts and prevent tight coupling and data leakage.
• Lead and evolve the vision principles and standards to federated delivery teams and define canonical data models and domain-aligned data boundaries which acts as best practices and guardrails for the enterprise.
• Be the technical mentor for high-performing team of architects and platform engineers fostering a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous improvement. Provide guidance to ensure consistent architectural practices across portfolios.
• Leverage market trends and knowledge of full stack development architecture to develop and drive technical strategy
• Build a positive and inclusive work environment with transparency collaboration and accountability
• Effectively partner with org and cross-org leaders to strategically drive successful results
• Identify and resolve problems with urgency and proactively solve issues ahead of time
• Ensure ongoing compliance with IT Security policies and procedures and leverage data-driven decision-making

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering or related degree
• 10 years of experience in leading enterprise architectural data strategy both on functional and technical domains in complex environments.

Preferred qualifications:

• Strong understanding of OLTP vs OLAP systems streaming architecture and integration patterns (CDC ETL/ELT APIs events).
• Strong experience working with integration technologies (SOA iPaaS REST) cloud infrastructure (PaaS SaaS MS-Azure AWS) web technologies (Spring Angular React NodeJS) Microservices Kubernetes NoSQL DB like Mongo and authentication methods like OAuth and SAML.
• Expertise on API orchestration and routing defining best practices for enterprise consumption across cross federated teams.
• Ability to manage and prioritize a high number of concurrent tasks while mentoring team members and partnering cross-functionally
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
• Prior experience as a Senior or Principal Data Architect.
• Certification on public cloud platforms and/or architectural frameworks like TOGAF
• Working in an agile environment and delivery quality products in iteration and with sense of urgency and deep ownership of solutions
• Extensive experience in establishing standards on data quality lineage PII handling of data and ensuring compliance with GDPR CCPA SOC2.
• Working experience with building integrated and automated solution leveraging Gen AII with RAG and/or MCP offering contextual personalized experiences and outcomes to achieve business outcome.
• Demonstrated success in mentoring high-performing engaged engineering teams.

• Ability to work effectively in an interrupt-driven fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
