Our client a respected regional law firm is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support firm-wide HR operations from its Bergen County office. This hybrid role reports directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer and plays a key role in managing employee relations recruitment performance management and compliance across multiple offices.

Key Responsibilities
Partner with the CHRO to oversee firm-wide HR functions and policies
Manage recruiting hiring onboarding and retention initiatives
Lead employee relations performance evaluations and disciplinary processes
Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR best practices
Coordinate benefits administration including 401(k) and profit-sharing plans
Oversee non-exempt staff and ensure firm performance standards are met
Maintain and update job descriptions and organizational staffing plans
Support leave administration and employee conflict resolution
Provide reporting and HR insights to firm leadership
Qualifications :
4 years of progressive HR experience within a law firm or similar professional services environment
Strong employee relations and compliance experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of professionalism and discretion
Stable career history required
SHRM-CP SHRM-SCP SPHR or PHR certification a plus
Additional Information :
Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite in Bergen County NJ
Not commutable by public transportation (reliable transportation required)
Salary range: $125000 $140000 full benefits
