[SO] Test Lead

The Tech Lead - Application Testing is responsible for driving the comprehensive testing strategy and ensuring the quality of software applications across multiple projects. This role leads a team of testing specialists defining advanced testing methodologies and overseeing the entire testing lifecycle to guarantee solution robustness and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Define and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for complex engineering applications ensuring alignment with project goals and quality standards as per communication and alignment with customer or customer interface.
2. Oversee the execution of all testing phases including integration system regression and performance testing across various product portfolios.
3. Establish and manage the test automation framework to increase efficiency coverage and reliability of the testing process.
4. Apply advanced testing techniques and tools to identify document and track software defects and ensure timely resolution.
5. Analyze and report on quality metrics and testing outcomes to provide stakeholders with clear insights into product quality and release readiness.
6. Drive technical collaboration with development project management and architecture teams to integrate quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle.
7. Lead and mentor a team of testing engineers fostering their technical and professional growth through coaching and knowledge sharing.
8. Ensure adherence to quality assurance best practices and industry standards driving continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
9. Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards regulatory requirements company policies and quality frameworks applicable to the role and assigned projects.

Qualifications :

    Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology or a related field.
    Relevant professional certifications are a plus.

Experience    
    Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing with a proven track record of leading testing efforts for complex software projects.
    Proven in a technical leadership or team lead capacity.

Professional Competence    
    API Testing: Postman Jmeter.
    Automation Test Programming: Python.
    Automation Test Environment Setup & Configuration Source Control.
    CI/CD Integration for Automation Test Tools/Framework: Selenium/ Playwright/ Cucumber/ CodeUI.
    End to End Testing
    Quality Assurance.
    SDLC and Agile Practices.
    Security Engineering.
    System Integration Test Automation.
    System-Level Test Strategy Development.
    V&V Strategy.
    Test Plan & Execution.
    Test Analysis and Design.
    Test Automation.
    Test Environment/ Tools: Jira ALM.
    Test-Driven Development (TDD).
    Testing Automation framework Design.
    Test Performance.
    Problem Solving.
    Proficient in English Communication
    Proficient in Office Applications (e.g. MS Word Excel PPT)
