What will your role be 

We are looking for a Senior Hardware Development Engineer to perform the following activities: 

  • Architect and design advanced hardware solutions for medical devices such as continuous glucose monitors drug delivery systems and laboratory equipment.
  • Develop detailed technical designs and produce comprehensive documentation and reports.
  • Lead prototyping and validation including testing debugging and performance optimization in laboratory environments.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with firmware/software and mechanical engineering teams to define and implement robust design methodologies.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to ideation sessions for new product concepts.
  • Interface with international customers ensuring technical solutions align with project requirements and expectations.

Qualifications :

What are we looking for in you Experience and competencies 

  • Minimum 6 years in hardware development roles ideally within medical or high-reliability sectors.
  • MSc in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
  • Solid experience in analog and digital hardware design including schematic capture component selection and PCB layout support.
  • Proven ability in prototyping testing debugging and circuit validation.
  • Familiarity with schematic tools (OrCAD Capture CIS preferred; Altium experience is a plus).
     

Soft skills: 

  • Exceptional organizational skills analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Comfortable presenting technical solutions to customers and engaging in high-level discussions.

Languages: 

  • Italian (Fluent) 
  • English (fluent oral and written)
