Job Summary

In these Casual or Part-Time roles based at Epworth Richmond you will join the Support Services team as a Food Services Associate. Working in a fastpaced kitchen environment you will play a vital role in delivering a consistently highquality food service experience for our patients and visitors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting up patient meal trays to a high standard
  • Delivering meals efficiently and courteously
  • Operating the dishwasher and maintaining cleanliness of kitchen equipment
  • Cleaning and sanitising food preparation and service areas
  • Assisting with general kitchen duties as required

These roles are ideal for individuals who thrive in a busy environment and are committed to ensuring exceptional service within a healthcare setting.

To be successful in this role
You will need to have strong customer service experience gained from working in hospitality retail or any other service industry.  Motivation with a can do team approach coupled with clear confident and courteous communication skills is a must. 
You will have:

  • The flexibility to work across any shift as required on weekdays weekends and public holidays. 
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Well-developed computer skills. 
  • An organised approach to work able to work consistently and effectively in a busy environment. 
  • The ability to deliver on and respond compassionately to our patients needs.
  • Food Safety and RSA certification or a willingness to undertake this training prior to commencing will be viewed favourably. 
  •  Full working rights are required to be eligible for the parttime roles (applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents).
