We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant with a strong background in the manufacturing sector to join our finance team. You will manage the day-to-day accounting functions ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining tight controls over production costs and inventory.

Responsibilities Include
- Managing the general ledger and performing month-end quarter-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Analyzing manufacturing variances (labor material and overhead) to improve plant efficiency.
- Overseeing inventory accounting including cycle counts and reconciliation of physical stock to the G/L.
- Preparing detailed financial statements and reports for management review.
- Assisting with internal and external audits to ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Collaborating with the production team to streamline cost-tracking processes.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA candidate preferred.
- 2 years of accounting experience specifically within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP Oracle or NetSuite) and advanced Excel (Pivot Tables VLOOKUPs).
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory management.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
