Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage cost estimates and budgets for M&E electrical and security projects.
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities based on project drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accuracy in cost management and to deliver projects within budget.
- Analyze tender documents and specifications to identify project requirements and determine competitive pricing strategies.
- Manage and monitor project financials including cash flow forecasts and expenditure reports.
- Prepare and submit progress claims variations and final accounts.
- Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier contracts.
- Provide guidance and support to junior quantity surveyors as needed.
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying within M&E electrical or security sectors.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes.
- Proficient with quantity surveying software and MS Office applications.
- Capability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
