Credit Underwriter (f/m/x)

We are looking for a new colleague to join our Nordic Credit Department. The team consists of eight dedicated professionals based in Sweden Norway Denmark and Finland. As a Credit Underwriter you will take on a varied role with responsibilities within credit assessment and broad collaboration across both internal and external stakeholders.

In this role you will perform credit analysis and underwriting with a primary focus on commercial finance while also supporting other financing solutions within our business segments. You will be part of a dynamic and businessoriented environment where a riskbased approach is essential. You will help strengthen our risk and control processes drive efficiencies and ensure that our high standards for credit management are maintained. Together with a skilled and cohesive team you will have opportunities to influence grow and contribute to DLLs longterm success.

The position is intended to be based in Norway but candidates in Sweden may also be considered. You will be part of the Nordic Credit Large Ticket & Commercial Finance team.

Day-to-day responsibilities includes but is not limited to:

  • Assess and decide on new credit requests and partnerships
  • Evaluate and analyze counterparty assessments and manage limits
  • Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions
  • Follow up on existing vendors dealers and partner portfolio and limits
  • Work in line with internal guidelines and risk appetite
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Directly interact with customers and dealers when required
  • Drive improvements in routines processes and established ways of working

Essentials

  • Bachelors degree in finance economics or a related field
  • 13 years of experience as a credit analyst or similar role; experience with inventory finance and/or leasing is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English verbally and in writing
  • High digital proficiency and confidence working with various systems
