General Purpose:
Makesand serves guests delicious beveragesin accordance withestablishedstandards and with hospitality and memorable dining experiences through personalized and genuine interactions.
Essential Duties:
- Stocks bar mixes and serves alcoholic beveragesassistsin cost control inventory andmaintainsinventory records.
- Assistsdepartment leaders with creation of seasonal cocktails and development of menu
- Assistsdepartment leaders with Social Media schedule and creation of content
- Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products. Communicates with managementin a timely mannerwhen supplies are needed.
- Ensurecompliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
- Communicatesguest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
- Performs opening and closing duties which include but are not limitedtoinventory cash control cleaning and restocking.
- Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
- Reviews banquet schedule for changes calendar of events andspecial events.
- Serve catered parties from service or portable bars.
- Onoccasionwillservemeals to guests.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties asrequired.
MinimumRequirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience in restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems ( and MICROS)
Physical Demands:
Frequently stands walks talks hears and uses hands. Regularly reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally climbs balances stoops kneels crawls crouches; tastes smells upto 25 maylift upto 50 pounds.
Certificates/Licenses:
ServSafeCertified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.
Job Knowledge Skill and Ability Preferences:
- Knowledge of wine spirits beer and current trends in industry and marketplace
- Possesses the knowledge of cocktail recipes
- Professional and courteous demeanor
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to company values
- Exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization to Troon employeesclientsand vendors
- Fluent in English speakingwritingand understanding
- Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
