Security Zone Officer
Join our team at Securitas Security where you will have the opportunity to serve your community while receiving advanced training in safety and security. This position will give you the opportunity to gain knowledge in the various security solutions we provide to our clients while learning multiple vacates of the this role you will provide operational support to our cliental and District Managers at multiple locations.
Pay Range:$19.29 per hour
This officer will need to be available 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm schedules are provided a week in advance and will be stationed at multiple locations.
Location:Denver CO and surrounding area - Multiple sites depending on needs

- Provide security for short-term special security assignments.
- Support staffing requirements at accounts during shortages due to vacations call-offs no shows suspensions holidays etc.
- Assist in start-ups at new accounts to include working the site writing post orders and training checklists and training newly assigned permanent Security Officers.
- Expect to work on weekends and holidays with limited notice and work during high need periods.
Job Requirements:
- Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions hazards unlocked doors security violations blocked entrances and exits and unauthorized persons.
Writing detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries suspicious activity emergency situations and any other observed issues.
Required to utilize rapid and effective judgment in responding to unusual or emergency situations using appropriate escalation of force level.
CPR AED and First aid certifications are a plus but are not needed for every site.
With or without reasonable accommodation the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing hearing speaking and writing clearly. Occasional reaching with hands and arms stooping kneeling crouching and crawling. Frequent sitting standing and walking which may be required for long periods of time and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain. Additional physical requirements may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

Security Officer Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Must be able to utilize technology.
- Calm polite and professional behavior.
- High level customer service and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and means of communication.
- Must have a valid drivers license and be able to pass a motor vehicle record.
Note: All candidates must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
