The Deputy Nursery Manager plays a key role in sustaining that pace supporting staff performance while ensuring safeguarding EYFS delivery and daily operations remain consistent and compliant. This is a hands-on leadership position working closely with the Nursery Manager and maintaining a strong presence across rooms.

Before You Apply

A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification is required.
Recent experience as a Deputy Nursery Manager within a nursery is essential.

What Youll Need

Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification

Support the Nursery Manager in the overall running of the nursery
Monitor teaching learning and care standards across all rooms
Ensure compliance with EYFS safeguarding and health and safety requirements
Lead mentor and supervise Room Leaders and practitioners
Review planning observations and assessment for consistency and quality
Build professional relationships with parents and external agencies
