Your opportunity
We are looking for a senior engineer with expertise in mine closure for Bolidens Department of Mine Waste and Water Management. You will work broadly with issues related to mine closure and extractive waste management along Bolidens entire value chain. From planning of operations in close cooperation with exploration to support for our actively producing units to facilities that are planning to be closed and facilities in need of additional closure measures.
Who you will work with
You will become part of a dedicated and collaborative team of colleagues with diverse expertise. The team includes development engineers senior engineers and an environmental coordinator as well as specialists working with social sustainability land use and community relations. Together you support Bolidens operations along the entire value chain and contribute to longterm responsible waste management and mine closure practices. The work environment is characterized by knowledge sharing crossfunctional cooperation and a strong commitment to sustainable development.

In this role you will work broadly with mine closure and extractive waste management across Bolidens value chain. Your responsibilities include:
The position is based in Boliden and includes occasional business trips with overnight stays to Bolidens mining sites. Hybrid solutions with work at another location may be possible.
