About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicatedPsychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitionerto join our team. As a vital member of our inpatient psychiatric consult service youll have the opportunity to provide high-quality care to individuals with a range of psychiatric conditions helping them stabilize heal and build the foundation for long-term recovery.

What Youll Do:

• Partner with our unique behavioral health consult coordinators (RNs or LCSWs) who provide assessments care planning clinical documentation nursing staff education and support and act as liaisons with nursing leadership on behalf of clinicians and patients

• Participate in call and weekend rotations to support patient needs

• Contribute to Virtua Healths graduate medical education program working with psychiatry and family medicine residents and medical students in the Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine (SOM).

About Our Program:

Beckers Hospital Review recognized Virtua Health as one of 60 hospitals or health systems with exceptional psychiatry and behavioral health programs. The publication noted our robust spectrum of behavioral health services across South Jersey anchored by 70 inpatient beds and supported by a team of more than 60 certified behavioral health professionals.

In addition to inpatient psychiatric care our program also provides:

• Outpatient mental health treatment with psychiatrists advanced nurse practitioners and licensed clinical social workers who are embedded within 28 primary care offices

• CASTLE pediatric behavioral health program including outpatient therapy intensive outpatient therapy partial hospitalization and a therapeutic nursery for kids ages 3 to 4

• Advanced interventional psychiatry providing treatments such as electroconvulsive therapy and transcranial magnetic stimulation.

• Substance use disorder treatment through our Medication for Addiction Treatment program

• Perinatal mood and anxiety disorder program

Compensation:

• The starting salary for this position is: $135000.00 (annually).
  The actual compensation package could vary based on factors such as but not limited to the applicants experience internal equity and alignment with market data.
