Technical Director Engineering

We are seeking an exceptionally accomplished Technical Director - Engineering with 20 years of progressive experience to lead our engineering organization in Jeddah Saudi this strategic role you will shape the technical vision drive engineering excellence and cultivate a world-class organization that delivers transformational solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage deep technical mastery combined with proven executive leadership to guide cross-functional teams influence organizational strategy and establish new standards of engineering excellence.

• Define and execute a compelling technical strategy and multi-year engineering roadmap that positions the organization for sustainable competitive advantage
• Build mentor and inspire high-performing engineering teams establishing a culture of technical excellence continuous innovation and professional growth
• Ensure exceptional project delivery through rigorous quality governance disciplined execution and strategic resource optimization
• Synthesize complex technical challenges into strategic opportunities leveraging data-driven insights to make decisive high-impact decisions
• Direct engineering operations with sophisticated resource planning capacity optimization and performance management aligned to organizational objectives
• Establish and enforce technical standards engineering best practices and compliance frameworks that elevate organizational capabilities
• Partner strategically with product operations and business leadership to ensure technical solutions drive measurable business value and competitive differentiation
• Champion transformational process improvements and advanced methodologies that amplify team productivity and accelerate project delivery

Qualifications :

• 20 years of progressive experience in engineering roles with demonstrated mastery and technical expertise in relevant engineering disciplines
• 12 years of experience in senior technical leadership or engineering management positions with proven success scaling organizations
• Extensive track record of successfully building leading and scaling high-performing engineering teams across multiple business cycles
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to navigate complex technical scenarios and drive strategic solutions
• Expert-level organizational and project management capabilities with experience managing large-scale multi-disciplinary initiatives
• Proven expertise in developing and executing technical strategies and long-term engineering roadmaps that align with business objectives
• Advanced proficiency in budget management resource allocation and financial planning for engineering operations
• Deep knowledge of industry best practices standards compliance requirements and emerging regulatory frameworks
• Extensive experience implementing and optimizing Agile Lean and other advanced methodologies across engineering organizations
• Mastery of engineering tools software development platforms and technology stacks relevant to the organization
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to influence and align stakeholders at all organizational levels including C-suite executives
• Proven expertise driving transformational process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives that deliver measurable business impact
• Distinguished ability to mentor develop and retain technical talent with a track record of advancing high-potential engineers into leadership roles
• Demonstrated thought leadership in the engineering community through speaking engagements publications or industry involvement
• Preferred experience in fast-paced innovation-driven environments with exposure to emerging technologies and digital transformation initiatives
