An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced and driven individual to join our automotive operations in Victoria based in Richmond. You will report into the National Transactional Services Manager and National Administration and Process Manager with your role being the Vehicle Compliance Officer. This Role is responsible for managing all fines and toll-related processes across the Group. This includes overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of fines and tolls - from receipt to resolution - ensuring compliance accuracy and efficiency. The role will also involve auditing toll accounts maintain accurate vehicle records and implement proactive measures to reduce future fines and toll costs.
This role will see you:
Fines Management
- Manage the entire fines process nationally including receipt via post or online portals investigation nomination payment and resolution.
- Investigate all fines thoroughly ensuring accurate attribution to vehicles or drivers.
- Clear historical fines across all existing portals.
- Obtain signed statutory declarations where required and attend mediations to dispute fines when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure fines are removed from portals once resolved.
Tolls Management
- Oversee toll accounts for all business units nationally Linkt EastLink E-Toll
- Audit vehicle lists within each toll account to ensure accuracy
- Add new vehicles to toll accounts upon arrival into stock and remove vehicles promptly when sold.
- Monitor toll usage and identify anomalies and cost-saving opportunities.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure all fines and tolls are managed in compliance with legal and Company requirements.
- Prepare regular reports on fines and tolls including trends costs and resolution status.
- Provide insights and recommendations to reduce fines and toll-related expenses.
Internal and External Engagement
- Liaise with internal teams (Sales Operations Finance) to resolve issues promptly.
- Communicate with external authorities and toll providers as needed.
General
- Manage national registration income processes including monitoring reconciling and optimising registration-related revenue across all business units
- Open investigate and distribute incoming correspondence and documentation to the appropriate internal people
Qualifications :
- Strong attention to detail and investigative skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using online portals and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Previous experience in administration compliance and automotive industry preferred.
- Familiarity with toll systems and fines processes advantageous.
- Knowledge of State Roads Authorities processes beneficial.
