Job Summary

The Regulatory & Trade Compliance Program Manager is responsible for developing implementing and overseeing enterprise-wide regulatory and international trade compliance programs. This role ensures adherence to applicable federal regulations export/import controls sanctions requirements and internal compliance standards. The Program Manager designs governance frameworks conducts risk assessments and collaborates with legal operations and executive leadership to maintain regulatory integrity in a fully remote environment.

This position is strictly limited to candidates who currently reside in the United States and are legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will be rejected.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage regulatory compliance and trade compliance programs

  • Ensure adherence to U.S. export control laws sanctions regulations and import requirements

  • Conduct compliance risk assessments and gap analyses

  • Monitor regulatory changes and update internal policies accordingly

  • Implement compliance training programs across the organization

  • Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory reviews

  • Oversee internal controls and compliance reporting processes

  • Collaborate with legal finance operations and global partners

  • Lead investigations related to potential compliance issues

  • Provide executive-level reporting and strategic recommendations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Law Business Administration International Business Compliance or related field

  • 58 years of experience in regulatory compliance trade compliance or risk management

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. regulatory frameworks (e.g. export/import controls sanctions compliance)

  • Experience developing and managing compliance programs

  • Excellent analytical and risk assessment skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities

  • Experience working cross-functionally with leadership teams

  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification such as Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP)

  • Experience in regulated industries (technology manufacturing defense healthcare or finance)

  • Familiarity with global trade management systems

  • Experience managing audits and regulatory examinations

  • Masters degree or advanced compliance training

Compensation

  • Annual Salary Range: $115000 $150000 USD based on experience industry expertise and program scope

  • Performance-based bonuses may apply
