Job Summary
We are assisting a growing technology company in the mid-west region to identify an IT Technical Solutions Architect to join their senior technical team. The position will be responsible for designing implementing and managing complex IT solutions for our clients. You will work closely with both internal teams and external clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into robust and scalable technical solutions.
The company are looking for someone who has direct hands on deployment experience to give them a more in-depth understanding of the right solutions to meet client business requirements.
The company proactively supports the continuously upskilling of all members of their technical team to ensure the continuous technical development of the team.
To be considered for this position you must have a full driving licence and applicants must be eligible to work and reside in Ireland (holder of an EC Passport or a Current Stamp 4 Visa).

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams to understand client requirements and design technical solutions that meet their needs.
- Lead the architecture design process considering factors such as scalability security performance and integration requirements.
- Develop comprehensive solution architectures including infrastructure applications data and security components.
- Provide guidance and technical leadership to the implementation teams during solution deployment and ensure adherence to architectural best practices.
- Conduct technology assessments and recommend appropriate solutions based on industry best practices and emerging trends.
- Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to clients offering guidance and recommendations on technology solutions and strategies.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in technology and industry trends ensuring continuous professional growth and knowledge transfer to the team.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation including architecture diagrams solution designs and project plans.
- Participate in customer meetings workshops and presentations to demonstrate the value of proposed solutions and address technical queries.
Skills Desired:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Technical Solutions Architect preferably within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing complex IT solutions including infrastructure networking security and cloud technologies.
- Proficient in architecting solutions utilizing platforms such as Azure AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- In-depth knowledge of virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware.
- Solid understanding of networking protocols security concepts and information security best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
