Senior Structural Engineer (Pr EngPr Tech Eng) Consulting Industry

RPO Recruitments client a reputable consulting engineering firm in Cape Town is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join their Structures team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong professional to take on a senior role within a dynamic and growing consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and analysis of structural systems for a range of building and infrastructure projects
• Prepare and review detailed engineering designs drawings and technical reports
• Oversee project delivery from concept through to completion
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians
• Ensure compliance with relevant design codes standards and client specifications
• Liaise with clients architects contractors and multidisciplinary teams
• Conduct site inspections and provide construction support where required

Requirements:

• BEng/BTech/National Diploma or National Higher Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Professionally registered with ECSA as a Pr Eng/Pr Tech Eng
• Minimum 8 years experience in structural engineering within a consulting environment
• Strong technical design and problem-solving skills
• Experience in a variety of structural projects (buildings concrete steel etc.)
• Proficiency in structural design software and MS Office
• Excellent communication leadership and project management skills
