Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry/Operations Assistant to support our operations team at Ascendant Insurance this role you will be responsible for:

  • Accurately inputting customer data policy information claims data and other necessary details into our systems
  • File sort and maintain physical and electronic documents ensuring all relevant customer and policy files are readily accessible
  • Regularly reviewing data entries for accuracy and completeness
  • Assisting with day-to-day operations by providing administrative support to various teams
  • Generating routine reports related to policy updates claims renewals and other key data points
  • Providing support to the customer service team by retrieving and updating customer records
  • Ensuring systems are updated with the latest information
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant privacy regulations and internal data management policies
  • Collaborating with other departments to streamline operational processes

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience:
    • 1 years of experience in administrative support data entry or operations (preferably in the insurance industry)
    • Familiarity with insurance terminology policies and processes is a plus
    • Experience with data management and CRM software is preferred
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook)
    • Familiarity with data management software (e.g. Salesforce Zoho or other CRM systems)
    • Knowledge of basic data entry techniques and accuracy standards
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
    • Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive customer information
