We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry/Operations Assistant to support our operations team at Ascendant Insurance this role you will be responsible for:
- Accurately inputting customer data policy information claims data and other necessary details into our systems
- File sort and maintain physical and electronic documents ensuring all relevant customer and policy files are readily accessible
- Regularly reviewing data entries for accuracy and completeness
- Assisting with day-to-day operations by providing administrative support to various teams
- Generating routine reports related to policy updates claims renewals and other key data points
- Providing support to the customer service team by retrieving and updating customer records
- Ensuring systems are updated with the latest information
- Ensuring compliance with relevant privacy regulations and internal data management policies
- Collaborating with other departments to streamline operational processes
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience:
- 1 years of experience in administrative support data entry or operations (preferably in the insurance industry)
- Familiarity with insurance terminology policies and processes is a plus
- Experience with data management and CRM software is preferred
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook)
- Familiarity with data management software (e.g. Salesforce Zoho or other CRM systems)
- Knowledge of basic data entry techniques and accuracy standards
- Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive customer information
