Job Summary
THIS IS A 5 DAY EMERGENCY POSTINGThis is a long-term substitute position and the duration is unknown at this time. This position is 6.5 hours per day with a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch and pays $15/hour and the hours are from 8:30-3:00. The paraprofessional will support special education students in the regular education inclusion addition the paraprofessional will support students in a small group academic support setting. Responsibilities include:Prepare instructional material and learning activities in the assigned direct instruction to groups of students or individuals in or out of the may include:Implementation of individualized and small group instruction and discussionsAccommodating and modifying materials to match students needs as prescribed by the with the collection of student with teachers on students progress and on specific strategies and methodologies to be unstructured time such as recess and/or lunch duty unless directed the teacher in with any other tasks that students are not able to perform for themselvesDepending on the assignment provide assistance in escorting children to and from vehicles during drop-off or students in using substitutes in following lesson plans when the classroom teacher is absentAbility to lift 30lbs. independentlyWillingness to participate in toileting activities is other related duties that the Preschool Director Special Education Director and/or teacher may assign
