Position: Packaging Operator
Location:USA Letohatchee Alabama
This is considered a safety sensitive position therefore will be subject to random drug testing as required.
Job Summary: Fills packaged materials ships and receives at Letohatchee
Responsibilities
Primary Duties & Responsibilities-
- Fills packaged materials in 50# up to 2000# bags stacks bags prepares material for shipment to customer loads and unloads trucks with forklift etc.
- Follows direction of the Letohatchee supervisor.
OE/Lean-
- Participates in all OE activities including 5s SS Gemba TPM kaizen etc.
Other Duties & Responsibilities-
- Available for OT shift work varying work schedule etc.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements-
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements to perform tasks (lifting pulling bending etc) work in hot or cold environments (weather) be able to work at elevated heights operate a forklift and other forms of mobile equipment must have a valid drivers license and have a dependable form of transportation ability to read and understand safety procedures and work instructions ability to perform basic computer functions etc.
Education:High School diploma or GED
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:Working in a manufacturing environment ability to operate mobile equipment basic fundamentals of comprehension (reading computer literacy etc) meet physical demand (labor intense) etc
Travel: Little to none but possible.
Working Conditions:Indoor outdoor day night weather (hot cold rain) field elevated heights confined spaces etc.
Work Hours:M-F day shift call outs OT possible shift work etc.
Safety Training:Behavior based LOTO confined space rescue elevated heights MSHA OSHA etc.
