What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests shoppers and store teams by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a retail and/or mall location.
• Control access at designated entrances employee doors and back-of-house areas by checking identification managing visitor sign-in and/or sign-out issuing temporary passes as directed and directing individuals to the proper location.
• Monitor and document activity at access points respond to alarms and/or radio calls and report unusual conditions to onsite management in a calm problem-solving manner.
• Support receiving and vendor access by verifying delivery credentials coordinating dock access with store personnel and maintaining written logs of vendor and contractor activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter with working environments and conditions varying by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2 years of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
