The Arts & Crafts Camp Leader is a vital team memberdedicated to providing a safe engaging and enriching camp experience forchildren in grades K5 Under the guidance of the Site Supervisor this roleleads creative activities supervises campers and fosters a positivesupportive environment where every child can express themselves.
Responsibilities
Provide direct supervision to campers (K8thgrade) to ensure safety and well-being
Plan and implement engaging arts and craftsactivities
Encourage creativity self-expression andconfidence
Prepare organize and maintain program suppliesand materials
Keep activity areas clean safe and organized
Build positive professional relationships withcampers and parents
Model YMCA core values: caring honestyrespect and responsibility
Qualifications
Experience working with school-age children
Background or strong interest in art crafts orcreative programming
Strong communication and classroom/groupmanagement skills
Ability to manage multiple children in an activecamp setting
Energetic patient creative and team-oriented
