Job Summary

Minuteman High School is seeking a qualified Scholarship Committee Lead for the school year. The Minuteman Scholarship Lead will work in partnership with students parents administration the business office and external organizations with a consistent focus on improving Minutemans scholarship is a stipend position with responsibilities and compensation detailed below.Major Responsibilities:

Create scholarship applications.
Create scholarship procedures documents for upcoming school year.
Generate scholarship announcements and emails for students and parents.
Generate emails and work closely with outside organizations and donors.
Attend all meetings and luncheons with donors during and outside of school hours.
Coordinate and attend monthly scholarship committee meetings (review criteria select recipients).
Visit classrooms to promote scholarships and offer application sessions to seniors to complete application process.
Work closely with the business office to manage all scholarship accounts.
Plan and carry out scholarship and awards ceremonies including awards night (culinary maintenance administration and business office).
Prepare for any awards to be given out at graduation ceremony.
Create annual scholarship and awards booklet.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Self-motivated; ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing in person through email and on the telephone.

Additional Requirements:

This position includes but is not limited to: interacting with the public walking around the school standing for periods occasionally lifting and carrying items reading documents using a computer listening and speaking using office equipment maintaining energy throughout the day and handling stress effectively.

Stipend Position.

Effective Dates of Employment:

This is a stipend position for the 2026-2027 school year.
The person who fills this position will be the contact for any relevant and important information prior to the start of the school year.

Compensation:

The total stipend for this position is $4545 for the entire assignment.

Create scholarship applications.
