As a Security Officer - Unarmed - Warehouse Center - Indiana in Crown Point IN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an unarmed driving Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and communications location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for service document observations and provide customer service through clear professional communication. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees contractors and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a tech and/or telecom location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting events communicating with site contacts and notifying local emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas exterior grounds and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and security-related systems such as CCTV and alarm panels report irregularities and assist with access control and visitor management per site procedures.
• Complete detailed patrol and incident reports maintain logs of key activities and communicate updates during shift change to support continuity of operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
