We are seeking a Program/Project Manager to lead a team of engineers and cybersecurity resources supporting a federal clients classified network. As the single point of contact with the government client you will provide program management support to a federal law enforcement agency within its classified data processing system directorate. You will oversee the planning and execution of approved technical solutions ensuring alignment with organizational standards and strategic objectives.
Lead and manage software development efforts from coordination through deployment working closely with systems teams to support smooth implementation and release activities.
Oversee the operation of all systems to ensure system availability and security compliance with DOJ standards and policies.
Validate hardware/software changes before production deployment and maintain comprehensive system documentation.
Provide technical support for system incident resolution and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
Assess manage and eliminate risk related to program schedule and performance projecting short/long-term strategic planning.
Set priorities develop work schedules monitor and report progress towards goals and track details and activities.
Provide monthly focused reviews of program service areas and develop/maintain the strategic road map for classified IT.
Collaborate with Systems Architects to review architectural documentation and ensure quality of deliverables.
Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and participate in cross-functional IT and non-IT groups to solve problems.
Stay current on private cloud capabilities and maintain strategy for leveraging cloud in program/engineering lab and classified environments.
Engage in multiple complex projects/programs from design and development to deployment and production.
Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning for multiple projects and plan/schedule project deliverables goals and milestones.
Direct and oversee contractor and subcontractor project engineering teams and manage conflict within the groups.
Provide data-driven metrics and analysis to support decision-making for the organization.
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance; must UPGRADE and MAINTAIN a TOP SECRET/SCI (TS/SCI) Federal or DoD security clearance.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration or a related field.
Seven (7) or more years of experience managing large federal security projects.
PMP certification.
Desired:
Seven (7) or more years of overall professional experience.
Masters Degree preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Cyber/System Engineering background.
Ability to solve problems involving complex situations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.
Experience running agile projects.
