The Role: Accounts Receivable (Senior Admin)Grade: SADM - Snr Admin
Contract: 12 month FTCReporting to: Team Leader of Accounts ReceivableLocation: KilkennyThis is a 12-month FTC. role for the position of Accounts Receivable. This person will play a key role in maintaining strong cash flow for the Company. The administrator supports this by processing client premium income and managing activity across the Vhi Insurance Vhi Healthcare and Vhi Health & Wellbeing bank accounts. The role involves accurately identifying and recording all incoming payments ensuring compliance with CPC requirements and internal controls and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders to resolve queries and support smooth financial operations.What will you doResponsibilities:- Process and record incoming Client Premium payments received via EFT Direct Debit and Credit Card ensuring all transactions are handled accurately and promptly.
- Process incoming payments received through the postal system ensuring all premiums are accurately identified matched and allocated to the correct accounts.
- Manage and monitor activity across the relevant Vhi bank accounts: Identify all income received in each account daily.
- Manage and control nonsubscription income including ThirdParty payments ensuring accurate identification recording and allocation.
- Manage a busy shared inbox resolving queries or discrepancies related to client premium payments subscription refunds and claims refunds.
- Complete daily controls for Claims and Refund cheque printing ensuring accuracy with cheque number updates.
- Process and manage compensation payments ensuring all transactions are compliant in accordance with the Payment & Purchasing policy.
- Process and manage returned Claims payments ensuring timely reissues and accurate resolution of any related queries.
- Ensure full adherence to CPC requirements and Internal Controls
- Assist with projects and initiatives as they arise supporting continuous improvement and departmental goals.
- Demonstrate Vhi Values and support associated behaviours in all aspects of your work.
What you need to be successful Skills Required:- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to work confidently with data and documentation.
- Familiarity with GIOS is preferable.
- Strong numerical skills with the ability to process and interpret financial information accurately.
- Exceptional attention to detail ensuring precise data input analysis and maintenance of records.
Interpersonal skills- Excellent communication and people skills with a strong customerservice focus.
- Collaborative team player who is flexible and willing to support colleagues as needed.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles.
- Demonstrated alignment to Vhi values
This is a CF2 role in line with central bank requirements.
