Job Summary

Ohio Wesleyan University a selective private undergraduate liberal arts residential institution founded in 1842 and located just 20 miles north of Columbus.

The Dept. of World Languages and Cultures at Ohio Wesleyan University is looking for a part-time French instructorto teach two first-semester French courses (FREN 110) in the fall and an additional two courses (FREN 110 and 111) in the spring of 2027. The courses are taught on campus three days per week (Monday/Wednesday/Friday). The ideal candidate will have a Masters degree in French or Foreign Language Education native or near native fluency in the language and some teaching experience at the college level.

At Ohio Wesleyan a residential liberal arts institution all classes are taught in an in-person face-to-face setting. We do not offer online courses during spring and fall semesters.

Pay is $5000 per course.
