The Division of Pediatric Infectious Disease at Emory University School of Medicine and Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a candidate to join our vibrant Division.

The faculty member will collaboratively contribute to the operation and expansion of our successful pediatric infectious disease. This position would provide opportunities for development and growth with a focus on clinical care and clinical addition the faculty member will contribute to the clinical research and teaching missions of the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases with coverage of the inpatient and outpatient clinical services and participation in student resident and fellow education. The Emory Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases ( is a dynamic group of clinical and research faculty staff and trainees whose vision is to translate knowledge into care by reducing the impact of infectious diseases giving every child the opportunity to thrive.
This position will be 80% research and 20% clinical care:


Research (80%)

  • Design and conduct research within the field of HIV immunology and HIV cure while enhancing professional skills and research.
  • Design and evaluate experiments. Develop new ideas that promote current research.
  • Prepare and publish scientific manuscripts.
  • Fulfill the requirements of the third year of the Pediatric Scientist Development Program (PSDP)
  • Apply for intramural and extramural funding in FY 2025 including the Atlanta Pediatric Scholars Program.

Patient Care (20%)

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the outpatient Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta Infectious Disease clinics
    Professional development
  • Continuously improve professional abilities and achieve academic productivity.
