The Role:
This position is in Ballys Corporate accounting department. Staff Accountant will be responsible for executing a variety of accounting procedures including but not limited to month-end and year-end closings account reconciliations general ledger entries and financial analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews and manages the daily workload output reliability and effectiveness of all items purchased.
- Processes all paperwork associated with purchasing in a timely manner.
- Performs bid analyses for RFP responses as requested.
- Places purchase orders and follow up to ensure timely delivery and receipt of proper product specification and price.
- Conducts interviews with sales representatives to determine vendor qualifications new ideas and pricing trends.
- Recommends specific procedures for buying shipping and storing products as assigned.
- Works with warehouse personnel on any issues related to orders placed including price adjustments substitutions backordered items.
- Serves as an advisor to departments in obtaining proper specifications delivery and costs.
- Maintains vendor pricing bid lists.
- Assists in identifying and utilizing certified MBEs and WBEs and documents same.
- Identifies ways to increase efficiencies or improve product procurement and delivery service.
- Maintains updated skills and proficiencies keeping pace with innovations in Procurement tools and technology.
- Acts as a resource and advisor on Oracle purchasing platform.
- Acts as a resource and advisor to Buyer.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite & Oracle software
- Strong analytical skills
- Good communication skills
- Good judgment and ability to direct and manage people

Target Compensation:
- Up to $75000 Annual Salary (DOE)
