Job Summary
Position Title: Senior Network Architect
Location: Boston MA 02116
Duration: 12 Months (Contract)
Position Summary
Navitas Partners LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Network Architect to lead the design and modernization of a large-scale hybrid infrastructure supporting 250 distributed sites. This role will drive the migration of on-premises environments to Amazon Web Services (AWS) ensuring a secure scalable and resilient statewide network architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain hub-and-spoke and mesh architectures across 250 locations.
Architect secure hybrid connectivity (AWS Direct Connect Transit Gateway VPCs Route 53).
Lead routing strategy utilizing EIGRP BGP and OSPF.
Manage security perimeter with Fortigate (FortiOS) firewalls and VPNs.
Oversee load balancing using F5 LTM/GTM or Citrix NetScaler.
Utilize SolarWinds (NPM/NCM) for monitoring reporting and capacity planning.
Drive transition to SDN and cloud-native networking models.
Qualifications
10 years in network engineering; 4 years in an Architect/Lead role.
Expert-level Cisco IOS/XE/NX-OS knowledge.
Strong AWS networking architecture experience.
CCNP required; CCIE or AWS Solutions Architect Professional preferred.
Strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills.
