The Position

As a Regional Lead for Global Learning & Development Solutions you will play a pivotal role in the strategic development promotion positioning and delivery of the P&OG portfolio of solutions within your region of responsibility. The Regional lead will be accountable for creating a Regional Strategy and executing Integrated L&D Plans to meet business needs. This will require a sound understanding of global & regional business needs combined with effective development & leadership of the GL&DS team under your responsibility.

The role requires close collaboration with key stakeholders e.g. P&C BPs Senior Business Leaders & People Support Services to ensure that the P&OG portfolio and plans are delivered in the most impactful way.

The Regional Lead role will require broad collaboration with other Areas of Practice Communities of Expertise Chapters External Vendors and the Business. You will collectively inspire and engage with stakeholders across the network and exponentially contribute towards Roches 10 Year Ambitions and the People & Culture North Star.

As an Enabling team member within GL&DS you will be expected to own strategic topics attached to the continuous improvement of the AOP contribute to the Extended P&OG Enabling team and Sponsor/Lead strategic initiatives.

The GL&DS Area of Practice plays a critical role in the implementation and ongoing evolution of P&OG solutions. The Regional lead will play a key role in raising portfolio awareness and ensuring that the business and geographical context are taken into account.

Your opportunity

  • Drive the OneRoche L&D portfolio adoption within the region working closely with key stakeholders

  • Act as Regional Architect & Catalyst for integrated L&D planning

  • Engage in the staffing goal setting coaching and development of employees in the Area of Practice.

  • Foster a diverse and inclusive environment ensuring that broad perspectives and capabilities are leveraged for team effectiveness.

  • Foster collaboration and cohesion within P&OG & P&C and engage in regional cross chapter communities

  • Support Global Solution Owners in negotiation and issues requiring escalation

Who you are

You have experience managing a diverse portfolio of learning solutions at multiple organizational levels (including programs tools and processes). Experience managing L&D solutions across geographies is a plus.

  • Successfully navigating complex multicultural and highly matrix environments.

  • Strategic thinking business acumen and the ability to translate global vision and strategies into regional goals

  • Strong Influencing and engaging in and beyond the chapter

  • Customer centricity (incl. needs anticipation cultural awareness managing ones response)

  • Problem-solving (incl. active listening critical thinking process improvements)

  • Growth mindset (incl. taking risks and experimenting seeking new learning opportunities asking and giving feedback)

Further Requirements and Information:

At least 7 years of related experience in Leadership Development Learning & Development Organizational Development or similar field; experience with talent analytics is a plus as well as extensive Team Leadership experience in either formal People Leadership or Project Leadership roles

The Regional Lead positions are location intentional where large volumes of L&D work is conducted and close contact to your regional team is possible within the EMEA time zone.
