Job Description
Were looking for a Graphic Designer to join one of the largest game studios in Sweden. This role sits within a dedicated in-house team that supports the entire studio with all things design.
The team operates like an internal agency delivering high-quality visual communication across all departments. Today the team consists of nine creatives with different areas of focus and this role will be one of two Graphic Designers within the group.
The Role
You will work broadly with graphic production and visual communication across both digital and print. Strong print knowledge is especially important as youll act as the go-to person for print production. This includes preparing print-ready originals managing specifications and confidently communicating with external suppliers using the correct print terminology.
The Team
The in-house team supports the entire studio covering everything from brand initiatives to technical platforms. They also collaborate closely on content creation for events and internal projects. The team includes specialists in livestreaming game capture video production coordination and graphic design and is led by a Team Lead brought in to build and shape this in-house function. The culture is humble and relaxed no sharp elbows. People genuinely enjoy working together and many spend time together outside of work as well. Soft values matter here. Theyre not only assessing technical skills; personal fit and mindset are just as important.
You Will
- Lead creative design processes from concept to final execution.
- Create coherent visual designs and ensure brand guidelines are understood and followed.
- Deliver assets for campaigns presentations events CSR initiatives and marketing communication.
- Ensure all graphic and visual content is aligned with brand guidelines and tone of voice.
- Collaborate closely with marketing product teams and other internal stakeholders.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Prepare files for production and oversee quality control through final delivery.
Who We Are Looking For
- You have experience from a similar Graphic Design role.
- Experience from a game studio is highly meriting. If not a strong interest in gaming and an understanding of the industry are important.
- You are confident in Adobe Photoshop Illustrator and InDesign.
- You have solid experience preparing material for print and digital production.
- You are structured collaborative and comfortable working with different stakeholders across an organisation.
- Just as important you are a team player. Low prestige. Open. Easy to work with.
Practical Details
This is a 12-month temporary role with a start date as soon as possible.
The studio is based in Malmö and youll need to be located there as well. The setup is hybrid with three fixed days per week in the office and two days remote.
