BayCare Medical Group a physician-led notforprofit organization is seeking an experienced BoardCertified OB/GYN Physician to join our St. Josephs Womens Hospital and support BayCares expanding GME OB/GYN Residency Program in Tampa Florida.
This opportunity offers a balanced next step for a seasoned OB/GYN seeking autonomy academic engagement and no night or weekend call. You will have the rare chance to build a brand-new outpatient OB/GYN practice while contributing to a growing GME program within a supportive integrated health system.
Position Overview
The physician will lead the launch and growth of a new outpatient OB/GYN practice with the freedom to shape clinical focus workflows and long-term direction. Working alongside BayCares OB Hospitalist team the role maintains a strong outpatient emphasis with optional participation in surgeries and Csections. You will also play a key role in BayCares developing OB/GYN Residency Program by mentoring residents contributing to quality and safety initiatives.
Position Highlights

Practice Environment
Located in a freestanding womens hospital the practice enjoys immediate access to Maternal-Fetal Medicine Gynecologic Oncology Breast Services and a Congenital Heart Program. The outpatient office is fully equipped for LEEP colposcopy endometrial biopsy onsite ultrasound and other gynecologic procedures.
This role is ideal for a physician seeking academic involvement outpatient autonomy and the ability to shape a practice within a stable and growing health system in one of Floridas most desirable metro areas.
