South Houston Nissan is looking to hire a Parts Manager!
Job Summary:
The Automotive Parts Manager primary duty is to order and sell a variety of vehicle parts and accessories.
Supervisory Responsibilities - Oversees the Parts team.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and respond to questions and requests about parts.
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure parts are available or ordered promptly when needed.
- Receive unpack log and store parts.
- Track inventory and input items into the company log to ensure accurate inventory counts.
- Assist customers in determining what parts they need.
- Process payments and returns when necessary.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Possess mechanical and auto parts knowledge.
Ability to understand sales training and new productinformation.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Punctual reliable and must have good communication skills.
Education and Experience:
At least 3 years of Managerial experience.- Valid drivers license.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.- Experience in working with operations and inventory.
Physical Requirements:
May lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs.
Good hand-eye coordination.
Prolonged periods of standing.
Frequent reaching bending squatting pulling and lifting.
