Role description:

Arcadis are excited to again be growing their Environmental team. We are looking for enthusiastic professionals to join our team to work on a range of projects. Working within our Specialist & Scientist teams youll create some of the worlds most iconic and ground-breaking structures and spaces that transform the world around us from making journeys easier to opening public places that bring people together.

As part of our Environmental team youll help improve quality of life. With your specialism in environmental management or your technical or sustainability expertise your work could involve protected species pollution surface water and materials management air quality or noise. And in some of the worlds busiest and most beautiful locations.

The role sits within our global business area Resilience. We work to protect our natural environment and water resources while powering our world for future generations. Around the world were feeling the effects climate change rapid urbanization loss of biodiversity. The rate at which were seeing large-scale unforeseen events such as floods and wildfires is becoming more frequent. Role accountabilities:

• Preparation of environmental reporting related to SER and SO projects including generating tables figures charts reports technical documents etc.
• Assist senior colleagues on multiple projects and deliver with high quality within time and cost expectations.
• Proactively collaborate with team members to deliver successful projects for various business areas and clients
• Processing data from intrusive site investigations (geological logs chemical laboratory data geotechnical laboratory data etc.) for presentation interpretation and reporting as required by the Delivery/Task/Project Manager.
• Provide administrative support for projects by collecting data providing project documentation training staff Task Management and performing other general administrative duties. Assist in budget implementation forecasts and administration. As required.
• Fulfilling duties within the Arcadis business management system including the completion of mandatory training timesheets and other submissions. As required.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Freshers graduated from relevant colleges/universities (0 to 2 years experience)
• A bachelors degree in Geology/Geoscience/Hydrogeology Environmental Science Environmental Engineering Civil Engineering Chemical Engineering or related fields. Msc/Masters degree is preferred but not required.
• Theoretical or practical knowledge of Site Evaluation and Restoration (SER) Sustainable Operations (SO) contaminated land site management site characterization and remediation environmental due diligence assessments or environmental health and safety topics or projects.
• Knowledge in CAD/GIS/(hydro)geological/geochemical/subsurface modelling is a plus.
• Field experience is a plus.
• Proficient in commonly used Microsoft Office 365 apps
• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Strong organisation skills ability to work independently and in a team with minimal supervision
• Strong technical writing skills
• Problem solving skills
• Strong attention to detail can-do attitude and eagerness to learn and develop relevant technical skills
