Minuteman High School is seeking a qualified Hall of Fame Advisor for the school year. This is a stipend position with responsibilities and compensation detailed below.
Major Responsibilities:- Select members of a Hall of Fame committee.
- Organize committee and set up meetings and agendas for meetings.
- Promote nomination process through the media.
- Selection Process through nominations received and prior nominations. Nomination Form dissemination through email and hardcopy.
- Furnish list of prior nominees eligible for induction.
- Plan Minuteman Hall of Fame Banquet - Chairperson works with possible venues and caterers accessing quotes to bring to the committee for selection.
- Banquet Inductee Information Gathering.
- Gather Inductee information for banquet program: Personal Bio and pictures.
- Banquet Program and Slideshow.
- Organize all the inductee information and put together pictures and bios for the program and slideshow template then work with DVC to finalize the program and slideshow.
- Work with plaque vendor to organize design order and pick up plaques for inductees.
- Set-up the venue space for the banquet.
- Get to venue an hour and half prior to set up slideshow plaques check-in area work with venue staff and organize.
- Follow-Up Meeting- Set up meeting to review evaluate and celebrate the Minuteman Hall of Fame Banquet. Record any changes/successes that may need to happen for future event.
Qualifications:- Great communicator.
- Organized and able to plan large events.
- Ability to use multiple computer programs to track alumni involvement and data base.
Additional Requirements:- This position includes but is not limited to: interacting with the public walking around the school standing for periods occasionally lifting and carrying items reading documents using a computer listening and speaking using office equipment maintaining energy throughout the day and handling stress effectively.
Terms of Employment:Effective Dates of Employment:- This is a stipend position for the 2026-2027 school year.
- The person who fills this position will be the contact for any relevant and important information prior to the start of the school year.
Supervisor:Compensation:- The total stipend for this position is $2253 for the entire assignment.
