What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Help to support access control by monitoring entrances verifying identification and/or credentials when required and directing visitors to appropriate locations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including reporting hazards suspicious activity and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility parking areas and perimeter to help to identify unusual conditions unsecured doors and/or unauthorized activity.
- Complete detailed reports of daily activity incidents and observations and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and on-site contacts as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma and/or GED is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
