The Role:

As a Banquet Houseperson you are the behind-the-scenes backbone of our events team. Youll be responsible for the setup breakdown and overall readiness of event spaces ensuring each function looks flawless and runs smoothly. This hands-on role involves moving furniture and equipment assisting with event logistics and supporting the service team before during and after events.

What we will ask of you:

• Set up banquet spaces according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) including tables chairs linens and equipment.
• Assist with staging décor placement and ensuring the event space is polished and guest-ready.
• Perform light cleaning and maintenance tasks to keep event spaces pristine.
• Ensure storage and service areas are organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Support banquet servers during events by replenishing supplies clearing items and resetting as needed.
• Break down banquet setups post-event in an organized and efficient manner.
• Reset rooms for future events as directed by the Banquet Captain or Events Manager.
• Assist in handling rental equipment deliveries or vendor items.
• Work closely with the Banquet Captain servers and event team to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to all safety sanitation and property standards.
• Communicate any issues damages or concerns to management promptly.

Requirements for Success:

• Have a positive energy be ready to assist fellow support staff and work as a team player
• Be 18 years of age or older and at least one year of prior restaurant events hospitality or relevant experience
• Ability to communicate effectively with managers employees and all guests
• A flexible schedule to work days nights weekends and holidays
• Constant standing/walking with occasional stooping kneeling pushing pulling or lifting
• Occasional pushing pulling lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
