Lube Technician

The Auto Ranch Group is looking for a Quick Lane lube technician for our fast-paced Ford/Dodge/Kawasaki dealership in Mountain Home Idaho. This is a learning position designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career in the automotive industry through hands-on experience and structured training.

Position Focus

• Oil changes tire rotations and routine services
• Light maintenance work
• Quality work performed in an efficient manner
• Manufacturer training
• Improving mechanical and diagnostic skills & performance over time
• Regular cleaning of work station and common shop areas

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order according to dealership policies and procedures
• Perform oil changes tire rotations and basic maintenance services efficiently
• Use power tools machine tools and common hand tools to perform various tasks
• Communicate clearly with the team when additional help or direction is needed
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
• Stay productive and focused throughout the day

• Basic automotive knowledge
• Effective analytical and communication skills and eagerness to improve
• Ability to learn new technologies including repair and service procedures and specifications
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of experience in an automotive service environment preferred
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record required
